He was an aspiring linebacker who weighed just 160 pounds. He didn’t know what his athletic future might hold.
Then a talk with his father – Alabama and NFL legend Bob Baumhower – changed everything. Maybe not in the way most people might think.
“Wes wasn’t sure he wanted to play as a junior,” Bob Baumhower said. “I told him that was fine, that if he didn’t play we could spend more time fishing or whatever.
