For the University of Alabama, its football program received news on Wednesday of Nick Saban getting a positive test for Coronavirus. Upon he and Greg Byrne (athletic director) testing positive, both left for home and went into isolation.
Saban has not been experiencing any symptoms and according to an update from Jeff Allen, Alabama’s Director of Sports Medicine, the 68-year-old is still asymptomatic. He is doing fine and will continue to self-isolate and remain in the SEC testing protocol, while being evaluated daily. With this going on, Alabama is set to host the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 7:00 p.
