Nick Saban continues to upgrade his coaching staff for next season.
He started the week by hiring Eric Wolford from Kentucky to coach Alabama’s offensive line. After it won the Joe Moore Award in 2020 under Kyle Flood, the Crimson Tide was not a finalist in 2021 under Doug Marrone. Bryce Young got sacked 39 times, and the offensive line did not gel together. Marrone came over from the National Football League, but he did not fit Alabama.
Wolford has a footprint in the SEC and has 21 years of offensive line experience in college football. He played offensive guard at Kansas State from 1990-93.
