Alabama football is searching for a new cornerbacks’ coach.
Karl Scott served at the position for three seasons, helping the Crimson Tide to two Southeastern Conference championships and a College Football Playoff National Championship. He has accepted a coaching position with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. Jason Jones, a safeties’ coach at Indiana University, is a potential candidate to replace Scott.
At 43 years old, he has experience coaching both cornerbacks and safeties. During his stops at Tulsa, Rice, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Florida Atlantic, and Indiana, Jones has been successful. He has placed a few athletes into the NFL Draft and is an outstanding recruiter.
