Will Alabama fans see the reincarnation of the 2016 defense?
The A-Day Game hinted in that direction.
Alabama’s defense looked scary, dangerous, lethal, elite, and suffocating at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Bryce Young had such a hard time moving the Crimson team versus the White defense (first-team) that Nick Saban had to pull Will Anderson out of the game.
Anderson, Dallas Turner, Chris Braswell, Jamil Burroughs, and others had a field day. Between both defenses were 15 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, nine pass breakups, four quarterback hurries, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions. Anderson, Turner, Braswell, and Burroughs totaled 2+ sacks.
