Alabama defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick took the field shortly after team arrival at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, ahead of the Tide's title game matchup with Georgia.
The standout on defense suffered an injury during during the Tide's victory over Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinal, resulting in a trip to the hospital. Fitzpatrick reportedly bruised a kidney, but wouldn't confirm the injury during Alabama's national championship media day at Philips Arena.
