Butch Jones was on the winning sideline for the first time in the Third Saturday in October rivalry and Alabama players rewarded him with a Gatorade bath. Alabama easily defeated Tennessee, 58-21, Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.
Jones, now serving as an offensive analyst for Alabama, was 0-5 against the Crimson Tide during five seasons as Tennessee's head coach. Tennessee is still paying him $200,000 a month - and will do so until Feb. 2021 - as he works under Alabama head coach Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa. Jones can't coach players as an analyst but has helped Alabama's offensive staff behind the scenes this season.
