Terrell Lewis is a different type of player.
Just three days after having surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) on his right knee, the junior linebacker was lifting his leg without assistance Friday on the training table.
According to a video posted on Twitter from Monster Maker, the Washington, D.C. native told one of the trainers “don’t touch” as he proceeded to lift his leg on his own. Standing at 6-foot-5 and 256 pounds, the four-star missed 10 games in 2017 because of an elbow injury he sustained in week one against Florida State.
Lewis made one of the biggest plays in the College Football Playoff — sacking Georgia’s quarterback Jake Fromm in the national championship game, to help Alabama earn a 26-23 win.
