When Chance Warmack signed a one-year contract as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in March, there was no guarantee he'd make the team. The former Alabama All-American was one of four players that Philadelphia planned to look at for the Eagles' left-guard spot.
On Saturday, when more than 1,100 NFL players were given pink slips, Warmack not only made the team, but the Eagles announced they'd signed him to a one-year contract extension. The deal would keep him on the team through the 2018 season.
"This is a great opportunity," Warmack said.
