Calera 2020 defensive tackle Jayson Jones committed to Alabama over Georgia in an AL.com video published Monday morning.
In the video, the 6-foot-6 1/2, 325-pound Jones talked about growing up in Alabama and making his home in the state. However, he then said it was time for him to make his own choice and find his new home.
Surrounded by friends outside of his high school, he put on a Georgia hat and said, "Go Dawgs." It proved to be a hoax, though, as the video cut to internet personality and Alabama fan FunnyMayne.
