Alabama safety Deionte Thompson had a warrant issued for his arrest for felony aggravated assault by the Galveston County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.
Thompson, 20, was one of four men to have warrants issued against them stemming from an alleged March 18 incident in Crystal Beach, Texas, according to KMBT-TV.
Noah Frillou, 18, was knocked unconscious, suffered broken bones in his face and sustained a major concussion in the incident, per the report.
The alleged incident took place over the University of Alabama’s spring break, which ran from March 10-19.
Morris Joseph, 18, Rufus Joseph, 18, and Daletredricc Wolfford, 21, are the other three men being sought as suspects in the case.
