On paper it’s not a very compelling week. There are very few games of supposed importance, notably Texas A&M-Clemson and LSU-Texas. But, a lot of the nation opens conference play, there’s a renewal of the NU-CU rivalry, and there are several tests for SEC teams like Missouri and Vanderbilt.
