Alabama’s defense had a couple of mental errors in its spring game, but everyone points to Nick Saban chewing out Ga’Quincy “Koolaid” McKinstry on the field.
It was a short moment of embarrassment; however, the talented freshman turned in a great spring.
Coach Saban spoke about him to reporters, and he had a strong A-Day performance. McKinstry recorded three tackles (one for loss), one pass breakup, one interception, and one fumble recovery. As a five-star from Birmingham, he has the potential to become one of the best outside cornerbacks of the Saban era.
