Continuity on the coaching staff not only played a major role for Alabama football in its top-ranked recruiting classes, but also in its five national championships under Nick Saban.
After having four assistants leave in the spring of 2018 – including Jeremy Pruitt – the Crimson Tide’s signing class that year suffered mightily. Alabama did not win the national title and following the 2018 season, it lost seven more assistant coaches.
Even though it has been two years since the Tide won a College Football Playoff title, it will open this campaign in the fall with chemistry on the staff.
