HOOVER | Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason opened his session at SEC Media Days on Monday by addressing a lackluster 2014 campaign where the Commodores went 3-9 and 0-8 in conference play.
“I know it's disappointing the season we had a year ago, but that's a comma, a comma and not a period, and this football team has definitely done the things that we need to do in order to get ourselves back on track and be exactly what we want to be,” Mason said.
Vanderbilt has 17 returning starters, although Mason claims there are 22 returning by the way he counts it.
