COLUMBIA, S.C. – Alabama softball outlasted numerous weather delays in Sunday's rubber match over South Carolina, eventually winning 5-1 with the game called after five innings.

Alabama (43-10, 14-7 SEC) scored five unanswered runs before South Carolina (34-18, 6-15 SEC) got on the board in the third inning, but the cushion proved enough as weather ended the game after five innings.
