Two University of Alabama football players on Thursday visited the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs Medical Center, part of the team's regular community outreach effort. While the veterans welcomed Reggie Ragland and O.J. Howard as heroes, the UA players said the veterans are their heroes.
"It's a privilege to get to hear their experiences and what they've been through in their lifetime," said Ragland, a senior linebacker. "Knowing all they've been through and seeing the way they react to people, that's special.
