TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Not seeing punter JK Scott or defensive lineman Da’Ron Payne on the list is concerning for University of Alabama football fans, but the Associated Press takes pride with deciphering the best players for its All-America Team when it comes to conferences.
Per Ralph Russo, college football writer for the AP, junior safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, senior offensive lineman Bradley Bozeman and sophomore lineman Jonah Williams were recognized.
Fitzpatrick, winner of Jim Thorpe and Chuck Bednarik awards, was selected for first-team honors after seeing what he was able to do this season.
