UA coach Kristy Curry impressed with Crimson Tide's 'grit'

The University of Alabama women’s basketball team came into its first game of the season — an exhibition game against the Faulkner Eagles — on a mission. The Crimson Tide rolled over the Eagles, 93-34.

Alabama guard Meoshonti Knight (15) looks to pass under pressure from Faulkner forward Olivia Adamson during Monday night’s game. Knight scored 17 points in the win.

“Just love the grit that we showed tonight,” coach Kristy Curry said. “I thought we played really hard and it was great balance across the board.”

Eleven players on the Tide roster scored.
