UA assistant coaches feeling more at home after first practice

Back to hard days in the heat.

Alabama football head coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide kicked off fall practice on Tuesday in sunny, 89-degree weather conditions at Thomas Drew Field. While the players worked out in jerseys, shorts and helmets, the new coaches on staff displayed much energy as the team anticipates defending its title of national champion. The last time Saban and company won back-to-back titles was in 2011-12.

Listed below are some of the observations from yours truly of TDAL Magazine.

-Quarterbacks coach Dan Enos and co-offensive coordinator Josh Gattis were both hands on with wide receivers and quarterbacks through pass-catching drills.
