CHICAGO – Two University of Alabama players were selected early in the second round of the 2015 National Football League Draft Friday evening at the Auditorium Theater.
The New York Giants traded up to obtain the first pick of the second round – No. 33 overall – to select Crimson Tide safety Landon Collins. The Jacksonville Jaguars then took running back T.J. Yeldon with the 36th pick, No. 4 in the second round. Collins and Yeldon are the 23rd and 24th Alabama players to be selected in the first or second round of the NFL Draft since the 2009.
