It worked for the Alabama Crimson Tide, so why not the New England Patriots.

The New England Patriots trailed the Philadelphia Eagles 15-3 in the second quarter, so armchair quarterbacks across social media took a page out of Nick Saban's playbook.

They called for Bill Belichick to replace NFL MVP Tom Brady for Alabama's Tua Tagovailoa.

Tagovailoa, of course, entered the College Football Playoff national championship game at halftime, replacing Jalen Hurts and threw three touchdown passes, including the game-winner in overtime to beat Georgia 26-23.
