Greensboro High School football coach Richard Bevill remembers the days when defensive end Jamerson Pasteur was the biggest kid in his sixth grade class, and now he'll be taking that size (6-4, 286) and his talents to Alabama State University.
Pasteur, who transferred from Akron after the school closed its doors last year, said he is looking forward to playing at the next level.
"It felt like family. It was like I was already family," Pasteur said of meeting with the Hornets coaching staff and players.
ASU had the second ranked scoring defense in the Southwestern Athletic Conference last season and added 12 players on that side of that ball, including Pasteur, a player that Bevill is confident will succeed in the NCAA Division I FCS program.
