For most Alabama players, it’s the first time since the national championship to suit up at practice and begin work towards a championship. But a few members of the Crimson Tide will not have that same opportunity as they will be held out of spring football.
In his first press conference of the spring, head coach Nick Saban shared that wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks, offensive lineman Darrian Dalcourt and linebacker Keanu Koht will all not be practicing in the spring. Saban did not get into specifics as to why the three will be held out.
Brooks was one of the team’s promising young receivers returning to the team who came on late last season for Alabama.
