Cam Calhoun has managed to make an impact during his short time in Tuscaloosa as a new member of the Alabama Crimson Tide’s secondary.

Calhoun transferred from Utah to Alabama at the end of the 2024 season. He played in 11 games with the Utes in 2024, and he finished the season with 21 total tackles and was fourth in the Big 12 with nine pass breakups.

Alabama’s defensive coordinator feels Calhoun adds juiced to a laid-back Tide secondary.

“He has a maturity about him,” Wommack said.
