ARLINGTON, Texas | Not every player is always ready to hit the practice field every day. Sometimes, after staying up late studying for a test or nursing a nagging injury, the energy just isn't there.
The University of Alabama's outside linebackers don't have those kind of days. Tosh Lupoi, their first-year coach, doesn't allow it. He provides the push they need.
"Him and (strength and conditioning coach Scott) Cochran are right there," sophomore outside linebacker Rashaan Evans said. "If (Lupoi) took another energy drink, he'd be right there."
Lupoi's voice is in their helmets. He's ready to go when they're not.
