Alabama quarterback Cooper Bateman hasn’t been named the Crimson Tide’s starter, but it appears he’s trying to do everything in his power to become it.
BamaOnLine reports that Bateman will spend part of his summer training at New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s fitness center and part working as a camp counselor at the Manning Passing Academy.
“Honestly, he wants to do everything he absolutely can to win it all. He wants his own national championship ring,” said Scott Cate, Bateman’s high school offensive coordinator, told BOL. “That’s been a goal of his from the very beginning.
