Investigation finds Alabama WR Calvin Ridley not involved in incident involving his HS coach (AL.com)
The purpose, according to a Sun-Sentinel article, was to have another student take the ACT college admission test for Ridley. Monarchs coach Calvin Davis allegedly approached security guard Elvin McCray in Dec. 2014 about making a student I.D. with Ridley’s name and the picture of a student who would take the test for him, according to McCray’s claims.
An investigation by the state Board of Education found no evidence that Ridley was in any way involved or even knew about the plan allegedly proposed by Davis.
