As most know, Judy Bonner made the decision to step down some time ago and the search begin for a new president for the University of Alabama. These last several years have been somewhat like a revolving door for the presidents here at Alabama. However, it seems as if the university has finally found someone who will be capable of filling the presidential role for many years to come.
Yesterday, June 18, The University of Alabama Board of Trustees unanimously voted Stuart Bell as the 29th President of The University of Alabama. Stuart Bell, who is currently Louisiana State University’s executive vice president and provost, has many ties to Alabama.
