Four-star cornerback Verone McKinley III has more than 30 FBS offers, including nine from SEC schools, and he says he wants to make his college decision before he begins his senior year of high school.
“It started early so I feel like I’ve been in it forever,” McKinley told GN regarding his recruitment.
“It’s definitely getting stressful trying to make that decision, but my parents are helping smooth it out. They are making sure we make the right decision and that we sit down, talk everything out and make sure everyone is on the same page.”
McKinley (5 feet 10, 170 pounds), from Carrollton (Texas) Hebron in the Dallas suburbs, is a top-30 cornerback nationally and a top-40 overall prospect in Texas.
