On Thursday afternoon, former Alabama defensive lineman Terrence Cody announced that he will be serving as the defensive line coach at Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Cody is most notably known for blocking a field goal attempt against Tennessee in 2009. Cody was a key piece of Alabama’s defense from 2008-2009. During his career at Alabama, Cody recorded 51 tackles and 10.5 tackles for loss.
Following his college career, he pursued an NFL career. He spent five seasons with the Ravens organization. The Florida native played in 57 games and recorded 87 tackles.
After the 2014 season, Cody was released by the Ravens and ultimately hung up the cleats.
