Tennessee Titans pairing Dion Lewis with Derrick Henry

The Tennessee Titans released running back DeMarco Murray on Friday, clearing the way for former Alabama All-American Derrick Henry to become the NFL team's No. 1 running back. On Wednesday, the Titans will sign Henry's running mate in the backfield.

Reports on Tuesday indicated New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis would sign with Tennessee on Wednesday. Free agents will be able to sign with other teams after 3 p.m. CDT Wednesday. They've been able to negotiate with teams since noon Monday.

Henry is listed on Tennessee's roster as 6-foot-3 and 247 pounds.
