Tennessee head coach Butch Jones reflected on the 2014 campaign at SEC Media Days on Tuesday.
The Volunteers went 7-6 in Jones’ second season at the helm and 3-5 in SEC play. The Volunteers will return 12 starters.
“Obviously we have a lot of positive energy, momentum and enthusiasm that’s surrounding our football program right now,” Jones said. “I think a lot of it is a byproduct by the way in which we ended the season.”
Tennessee finished the year by winning four of its last five games, with a 45-28 victory over Iowa in the 2015 TaxSlayer Bowl.
