Bryce Young is Alabama’s projected starter at quarterback and Paul Tyson is having a great summer; however, Crimson Tide fans are inquisitive about the development of Jalen Milroe.
A native of Katy, Texas, he led Tompkins High School to a 9-0 season in 2020.
As a four-star, Milroe totaled 1,136 passing yards, 259 rushing yards, and 17 total touchdowns last year. He was one of the nation’s top dual-threat quarterbacks; nevertheless, he is a pass-first player according to Todd McVey. McVey, Milroe’s high school coach, saw him record 2,689 passing yards, 300 rushing yards, and 36 total scores in 2019.
