TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The Alabama women’s basketball team defeated the Alcorn State Braves Sunday afternoon, 97-50, inside Foster Auditorium. Six players finished in double figures for the Crimson Tide to help move UA to 7-1 on the season while Alcorn State dropped to 1-4.
For the second time this season, sophomore Quanetria Bolton recorded a double-double, putting up 14 points along with 10 rebounds. Sophomore Hannah Cook and freshman C’Coriea Foy also ended the game with 14 points. Senior Nikki Hegstetter chipped in another 13 points, while sophomore Karyla Middlebrook had 12 and junior Breanna Hayden had 10.
