Alabama Football got it’s first big commit of National Signing Day 2016 when Shyheim Carter, a 5’11” and 183lb cornerback out of Kentwood Louisiana.
Shyheim Carter is the first big unknown commodity of National Signing Day for Alabama. Carter was torn between Alabama and Ole Miss. but in the end Carter went with the Alabama Crimson Tide. Shyheim Carter joins Nigel Knott as Alabama’s cornerbacks of the future. If you’re a quarterback you’re not going to want to see a Knott and Carter on the field together.
