Alabama softball was running out of outs. Down to five more in the game and one in the inning on Saturday’s winner-take-all game against Oklahoma, the Crimson Tide was staring down a seemingly unsurmountable 3-1 deficit.

“(I was) just trying to get on base, pass it down,” Spencer said.
