Running back Kenyan Drake knows something about overcoming injuries. So when Meredith Hatcher contacted Drake about visiting her boyfriend, who suffered a fractured skull on the job the day after Alabama won the CFP national championship, the former Crimson Tide running back found time in his pre-draft schedule.
Drake visited with Tide fan Daniel Wesley of Greenville, Hatcher, their families and friends on Sunday at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, which specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of those who have suffered brain and spinal-cord injuries. Vaughn McClure of ESPN was on hand, too.
