See Derrick Thomas' 7-sack game after his NFL record stands up to Atlanta end's challenge

Seventeen years and one day after Kansas City Chiefs outside linebacker Derrick Thomas set the NFL single-game sack record, Atlanta Falcons defensive end Adrian Clayborn nearly matched the late Alabama star.

Clayborn recorded six sacks during the Falcons' 27-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Thomas set the NFL record with seven sacks against the Seattle Seahawks on Nov. 11, 1990.
