The SEC announced Tuesday its 2018 AT&T SEC Football Legends class, and Alabama and Auburn are represented by a couple of established running backs and a Mobile, Alabama native.
Former Alabama star Shaun Alexander and former Auburn great Ronnie Brown headline the class who will be honored at events surrounding the SEC Football Championship Game in Atlanta in December.
Also, Mobile, Alabama, native, Mardye McDole, a wide receiver from 1977-1980, represents Mississippi State.
The year's class includes All-Americans, All-SEC selections and Academic All-Americans. The group represents teams that won National and SEC Championships and are represented in state, school and college football halls of fame.
