University of Alabama running back Derrick Henry carried the football more times in last Saturday’s win over Auburn than any running back in any game in Alabama history. His 46 carries broke Johnny Musso’s previous school record of 42, including 10 straight carries on a clock-eating drive that is beginning to become a hallmark of the Crimson Tide’s late-game strategy.
“That gets us on the sideline excited,” linebacker Reggie Ragland said. “You are on the sideline and Derrick gets going and Coach (Nick Saban) just hands him the ball like that, oh yeah.
