Former Alabama All-American Ryan Kelly will make his 2017 NFL debut on Sunday, returning to the Indianapolis' lineup as the Colts' center when they host the San Francisco 49ers.
Kelly missed the first four games of the season after suffering a foot injury on Aug. 10 during a joint training-camp practice with the Detroit Lions. When Kelly's injury did not respond to rest, he had surgery.
Kelly returned to practice last week, and Colts coach Chuck Pagano said he'd start on Sunday.
"He's going to have to knock some rust off," Pagano said.
