Alabama football’s new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb wants the Crimson Tide to attack defenses through the air and on the ground.
Grubb’s last collegiate coaching stop proved he can operate a balanced offense with Michael Penix throwing for 4,903 yards and Dijon Johnson rushing for 1,195 yards at Washington during the 2023 season.
The veteran coordinator wants the run game to be a vital part of the Tide’s attack, and he made it clear on Wednesday during his media availability.
“We’ve only had two practices with no pads, so a little tough to assess that, but I think just a commitment to that In general,” Grubb said.
