Former Alabama star Ryan Anderson didn't tell Deshaun Watson to leave a Tuscaloosa bar and even offered to pick up his tab, according to his publicist.
Bob Broderick, Anderson's media publicist, told TMZ that Anderson approached the former Clemson quarterback at Innisfree Irish Pub on Friday night because other customers were getting hostile toward him. Anderson and former Crimson Tide star Wallace Gilberry were filmed talking to Watson and gesticulating for him to leave the popular Tuscaloosa bar. Anderson's side of the story through his publicist is that he interceded to prevent the situation escalating any further.
