Rookie Joshua Frazier ready to 'go out and grind' to earn spot on Steelers

While at Alabama, Pittsburgh Steelers' rookie Joshua Frazier played with five other defensive tackles who are on NFL rosters -- Da'Ron Payne of the Washington Redskins, Jarran Reed of the Seattle Seahawks, A'Shawn Robinson of the Detroit Lions and Dalvin Tomlinson of the New York Giants plus the Kansas City Chiefs' Dee Liner, who left the Crimson Tide for Arkansas State after his first season.

Payne was a first-round choice and Reed, Robinson and Tomlinson were second-round selections in NFL drafts. So when the Steelers chose Frazier with a seventh-round choice in the NFL Draft in April, they weren't concerned that he'd totaled 15 tackles in his senior season.
