Like his former University of Alabama teammate, Cam Sims, Robert Foster desires to make the Buffalo Bills’ 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent. After arriving in Tuscaloosa from Pennsylvania with a five-star rating in 2013, he struggled to have a productive career.
A shoulder injury sidelined versus Mississippi sidelined Foster for the remainder of the 2015 season, while inconsistent play at quarterback limited his opportunities in 2017. He managed to record 14 receptions for 174 yards with a touchdown and was credited with a couple of marquee plays in the Crimson Tide’s 26-23 win over Georgia in the College Football Playoff title game.
