Among the first phone calls Robert Foster made after signing his NFL deal went to his former and, suddenly current quarterback.
AJ McCarron was a senior when Foster came to Alabama as the nation's No. 2 receiver ranked 23rd overall in the 2013 class. The quarterback known for his vocal leadership was there for the young receiver then and now. A few weeks after McCarron signed with the Bills, Foster called with news he'd just inked a deal with Buffalo after going undrafted.
Only three lockers separate Foster from McCarron in the Bills facility. They reminisced a little when they both arrived for OTAs last month.
