Even before that play, there were people at Alabama that compared Robert Foster's speed to that of a famous cartoon character.
Watching Foster run, they'd say, is like watching the Road Runner from the old Looney Tunes cartoons.
That rare speed is the redshirt senior wide receiver's greatest strength -- and it's what makes Foster capable of making a lot more plays like his 52-yard touchdown against Colorado State on Saturday.
"A lot of players on the sideline, we've been waiting on that forever," linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton said of Foster's touchdown. "Going against him at practice, you're talking about a guy (that's) fast.
