TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Senior guard Retin Obasohan added two more awards to his growing list of honors following the 2015-16 season. The United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) named Obasohan first team all-district, while the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) selected him to its all-district second team.
Obasohan is the first Crimson Tide player to earn the honors since Trevor Releford was selected by both organizations in 2014.
Obasohan, who was named the Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year as well as a member of the SEC First Team and All-Defensive team earlier this month, lead the Tide with 17.
