Alabama’s revamped defensive coaching staff is beginning to take shape, with the addition of a well-traveled assistant making his way to Tuscaloosa.
UL-Lafayette defensive coordinator Karl Scott is set to join the Crimson Tide’s staff, as reported by FootballScoop.com. Scott’s exact role remains to be determined.
It would be Scott’s third job in barely a month and his fourth in two years. He was secondary coach at Texas Tech in 2016 and ’17, and was hired at ULL on December 26. Before going to Texas Tech, Scott spent one season as Louisiana Tech’s safeties coach.
